Yesterday on Today, hmmmm, Ann Curie interviewed this guy who owns a "see through" human scanner company, as would benefit if the fed. govt mandats their usage nationwide. Anyway, Ann's last question to him, after ascertaining that the devices' radiation was not harmful, was "and so would one of these scanners detect something hidden inside the body, you know if someone had swallowed something or somehow had it hidden inside their body?" "No" was the response. One simple word, "No". So many billiions of dollars potentially wasted and so much privacy lost. |
